Photos and videos showing the French forward working out in the gym after being discharged highlight the change in his physique, with his previously toned arms and legs looking noticeably slimmer.

Acute gastroenteritis typically presents with vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain, often leading to dehydration, which may explain the changes in Mbappe’s figure.

The 26-year-old forward fell ill just hours after arriving in Palm Beach with Real Madrid for the FIFA Club World Cup. He was hospitalized in Miami on June 18, but was released the following day. He has yet to return to training with the team.
