 Ingredients


Potatoes – 5-6
Whole coriander – 1/4 tsp
Cloves – 4-5
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Gram flour – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida – 3/4 tsp
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste


Method


- First of all, wash and clean the potatoes and boil them in a cooker. After this, peel the potatoes and cut them into one-inch pieces, and keep them aside in a bowl.


- Then put cloves, black pepper, and whole coriander in a mixer jar and grind them all coarsely. After this, take out this spice in a bowl and keep it aside.


- After this, put half a teaspoon of asafoetida in a small bowl and dissolve it in water. Now, put oil in a pan and heat it on a medium flame.


- When the oil is hot, add the remaining asafoetida and gram flour and fry them well.



- When the gram flour is fried, add coarsely ground spices and mix it well and cook for 1-2 minutes.


- Now add chopped potatoes and mix it with the help of a ladle and cook. After cooking the potatoes for some time, add asafoetida water and mix it.


- After cooking the vegetables for 2 more minutes, turn off the gas. Asafoetida potato curry is ready. Serve it hot with roti or paratha.
