Essential Material:
- 5 fresh maize corn
- 4 tablespoon oil or ghee
- ½ tsp cumin
- ⅛ tsp asafetida
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- ½ tsp green chili paste
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
- ½ cup fresh coconut
Method of preparation:
- First of all, grate four corn and cut the rest into fine pieces. This will also give a slight crisp to the dish.
- Now heat oil or ghee in a deep pan. Add cumin seeds to it, when it starts crackling, add asafetida and ginger paste.
- As soon as the ginger color is light brown, add grated corn, green chili paste and salt.
- Now slowly add milk to it and keep stirring continuously, so that the milk does not break.
- Boil the maize until cooking on low flame. This process will last for about 10-12 minutes.
- When the mixture becomes thick and the oil starts leaving the edge, then understand that cornous can be ready.
- Put finely chopped coriander and grated coconut from above before serving.
Suggestion: If you want, you can also add some lemon juice to it.
Red chili powder can also be run to increase pungency.
