Panchamrit Making Tips: Offer Panchamrit to Lord Shiva , The Holy month of Sawan, Which Started on July 11, Holds Special Significance for the Devotees. Today, July 14, is the First Monday of Sawan, and Temples are Throngeed With Devotees of Bholenath. Lord Shiva is Called Bholebaba Secause He is Simple-Natured and Accepts the devotion of devotees Quickly.


If we talk about bholenath’s favorite bhog, then panchamrit comes to mind first. It is a holy prasad made of milk, curd, ghee, honey and Sugar, which is specially offered to Shiva in Sawan. It is easy to make and can be consumed even during fasting. Please let us know the correct method and ingredients for making panchamrit.


Ingredients required to make panchamrit


Half a litre of raw cow milk (not boiled)


200 grams of fresh curd



3 Tablespoons of Pure Honey


10-12 Basil Leaves (For Point)


1 teaspoon of desi ghee


10-12 makhanas (roasted)


1 teaspoon chironji


1 tablespoon finly chopped almonds


1 Tablespoon Chopped Cashews


1 Tablespoon grated Dry Coconut


1 tablespoon raisins


1 Teaspoon Gangajal (For Point)


Method of Making Panchamrit


Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.


Keep the mixture aside for 5 minutes before offering it to the Shivling, so that all the flavors blend complete.


Let it cool in the fridge for 2 hours before distributing it as Prasad.


After cooling, pour it into glasses and distribute it amon the devotees.


Why is panchamrit so special?


Panchamrit is not only dear to Lord Shiva, but it is also beneficial for health. The Milk, Curd and Honey Present in It Keep Digestion Healthy, While The Dry Fruits Provide Energy. On this first month of Sawan, offer panchamrit to bhole baba and get his blessings.
