Lal Bagh Palace Maharaj Shivaji Rao was built in Indore between 1886 and 1921. The palace is known for beautiful carvings on the walls and marble floors. However, sometimes the residence of the Marathas, the Lal Bagh Palace is now considered one of the best museums in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, the main gate of Lal Bagh Palace is similar to the Buckingham Palace in London.


Krishnapura umbrella is also known as one of the historical places in Indore. The Holkar Maratha heritage is three umbrellas and five mausoleums at this place. Gandhi Hall, a popular tourist destination in Indore, was built in 1904. Built in the Indo-Gothic style, the building was named Edward Hall and was inaugurated by Prince George V from Britain. After independence, the name of Edward Hall was changed to Gandhi Hall. Gandhi Hall in Indore is still famous for its magnificent wall carving and cultural art exhibitions.
