PSG are expected to receive €12,5m from Eintracht Frankfurt following the €79m transfer of France international U23 centre-forward Hugo Ekitiké (23) to Liverpool, according to The Parisian. On the back of his breakout 2021-2022 season with Reims, Ekitiké joined PSG in €29m move. Unfortunately, the player could not kick on as PSG head coach Christophe Galtier was already packed with options up front, the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. Eventually, Ekitiké only logged four goals and as many assists in 33 appearances for Parisians.

During the 2024 winter transfer window, Ekitiké left PSG to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. The move included a €16,5m option to make Ekitiké’s move permanent to The eaglesas well as a 20 % sell-on bonus clause. Given that the Bundesliga side has reportedly made a €62,5m plus-value from Ekitiké’s sale to the Premier League champions, PSG can expect a €12,5m bonus.
