Virat Kohli Returns to Cricket Practice: After IPL 2025, Virat Kohli is not seen in any cricketing action. He retired from Test cricket before the England Test series. At the same time, he had said goodbye to win the World Cup 2024 title from T20 cricket. Now he will be seen only playing ODI and he has started practicing for that.


Before the tour of Australia, Team India star batsman Virat Kohli has returned to the cricket pitch. He practiced in the presence of Naeem Amin, assistant coach of Gujarat Titans. Kohli wrote in his Instagram story, “Thank you for help in the hit, brother. You always love to see.” He also shared a picture of himself with Amin during the session.

Amin shared the story on his account again and said, “Brother, you like to see you soon!” Amin Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Mite Willow Academy in London and earlier at the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the coaching staff of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Earlier, India’s fast bowler all -rounder Hardik Pandya has also attended Amin’s academy for good practice sessions.

Virat Kohli has retired from Test and T20 cricket. Kohli’s attention is now entirely on the Indian Premier League (IPL) commitments with ODIs for India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).


Kohli has scored 14,181 runs in 302 ODI international matches. He last played a brilliant innings in the final of IPL 2025. Wirat Kohli scored 43 runs, making RCB finally won its first trophy by defeating Punjab Kings by six runs in the title match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.



Fans are desperate to see Kohli again on the field. However, the fans will have to wait till October. India had to play three ODIs in Bangladesh in August, but the series between BCCI and BCB has been adjourned till September 2026.


Play will be seen from October 19


Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who are far from Test and T20 Internationals, are expected to return to India’s ODI to Australia’s limited -overs tour. The tournament will begin at Perth Stadium from October 19. After this, other matches of the tournament will be played on 23 and 25 October. (IANS)
