New Delhi: Pakistani actress Anita Ayoob had once opened up about her relationship with Bollywood legend Dev Anand, claiming that she ‘lived together’ with him.
Anita made her Bollywood debut with Dev Anand’s directorial ‘Pyar Ka Tarana’ in 1993.
In a throwback video, which has resurfaced on social media, Anita made some shocking revelations about her special bond with Dev Anand.
In an old interview with Lehren, Anita was asked about her relationship with Dev Anand.
She boldly shared, “Unse relationship toh har kisam ka ho gaya tha, ek bade bhai, ek father, ek boyfriend, ek mother. Relation har kisam ka tha (We shared every kind of bond, he was like an elder brother, a father, a boyfriend, even a mother).”
“In Denmark, we lived together for four weeks, he was on the third floor and I was on the second. And you know, when you live together like that, seeing each other every morning and spending the whole day side by side, you automatically get to know everything about a person. I didn’t mind choosing him as a boyfriend, as a mother, as a father, as a brother – as everything!” she added.
An actor and filmmaker, Dev Anand is one of the most iconic figures in Indian cinema and his contribution to the industry has been immense.
