For the first time since the death of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband and late billionaire businessman Sunjay Kapur his third wife Priya Sachdev has made a public appearance. She attended the annual convention of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) held at the Taj Palace in Delhi on September 15. Several pictures of her from the event have surfaced on social media.

The ACMA Annual Convention is the flagship event of the country’s auto component industry. Priya Sachdev has been included in the Executive Committee of ACMA for the 2025–26 term. Her professional bio was also updated effective from September 12.

It is worth noting that Priya is currently embroiled in a legal tussle. Karisma Kapoor’s children have accused her of forgery in a will in a case filed in the Delhi High Court. There is an ongoing dispute between her and Karisma Kapoor’s children over property worth Rs 30000 crore.

According to Bar & Bench the children have accused their stepmother Priya Sachdev Kapur (Sanjays third wife) of altering his will and attempting to take over the entire property. In a petition filed through their mother Karisma Kapoor the children stated that after Sunjay Kapur’s sudden demise in the UK in June 2025 Priya unfairly excluded them from the inheritance.



The petition names Priya Sachdev Kapur and her son Azarias Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor and the alleged executor of the will Shraddha Suri Marwah as respondents. The petition was heard on September 10. The centre of the dispute is the will dated March 21 2025 which allegedly bequeaths Kapursentire entire property to Priya.
