LDA has decided to start giving more than 15,000 residential and commercial plots under the Varun Vihar scheme. Along with this, a logistics park and transport city will also be developed in 300 acres. The logistics park, which will be directly connected to Agra Expressway and Kisan Path, will help a large population get residential facilities as well as employment opportunities.

Varun Vihar Yojana in 5,610 acres of area

Varun Vihar Yojana will be developed in 5,610 acres of area on Agra Expressway, for which land of village Bhalia, Adampur Indwara, Bahru, Jaliyamau and Madarpur, Ibrahimganj, Nakataura, Gehlwara, Tejkrishna Kheda, Rewari, Sakra and Dona of Sadar and Sarojininagar tehsil has been identified. More than 3 lakh people will get residential facilities under this scheme. Along with this, there will be unprecedented development in the industry, health, education and logistics sector of the city. The scheme is expected to attract big investment in the capital and create a large number of employment opportunities.

Green belt and golf course will be built in 800 acres

LDA vice president Prathamesh Kumar said that more than 15,000 residential, commercial and group housing plots will be planned under the scheme. Green belt, park and water bodies will be developed in about 800 acres of area in the scheme, which will have one international level golf course and central park. Apart from this, a logistics park and transport city will be developed in an area of ​​300 acres.

25 sectors, ISBT planned in Varun Vihar

Under the proposed scheme, a total of 25 sectors will be built in Varun Vihar. In these, provision of grid roads, underground cable lines etc. will be made as per international standards. Apart from this, ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) will be built for smooth traffic. Kumar said that to implement the scheme, land is being purchased on the basis of consent from the farmers.
