Huma Qureshi is having the best time in her life in both her professional and personal spheres. Just fresh from the grand premiere success of her new film Bayaan at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025, the actress is now said to be engaged to her long-time suspected beau, acting coach Rachit Singh.
As per a report by Hindustan Times, the couple has indeed taken the next step in their relationship, as revealed by a source close to them. Although the couple hasn’t publicly announced, news of their engagement started after singer Akasa Singh posted an informal photo with the two and captioned it, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma.”. Best night ever.” The post soon went viral and generated gossip online.

Who Is Rachit Singh?
Rachit Singh is from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Having shifted base to Delhi in 2012 and doing some ramp modelling, he moved to Mumbai in 2016 to pursue a career in the entertainment world. He started out with casting director Atul Mongia’s guidance, assisting in setting up the actor training platform, Artist Collective.
Rachit has gone on to become one of Bollywood’s top acting coaches. Through his business, Rachit Singh Workshop, he has coached more than 100 actors, including prominent stars like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, and Pooja Hegde. Apart from coaching, Rachit also made an acting appearance in the 2024 web series Karmma Calling, playing the role of Vedang opposite Raveena Tandon.

Their Public Appearances Sparked Speculation
The couple came under the spotlight for the first time when Rachit was spotted at Huma’s friend Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding in June 2024. Huma and Rachit attended the small wedding ceremony in coordinating pink attire, adding to the speculation. He has also made regular appearances in Huma’s social media events and gatherings with her family, such as those with her brother, actor Saqib Saleem.
Huma’s Career Continues to Rise
On the professional front, Huma last appeared in Tarla, Indian chef Tarla Dalal’s biopic.
