On July 21, 2025, striker Mateo Retegui moved from Atalanta in Italy to Al Qadsiah. He signed a four-year contract. The transfer fee was about €65 million, as reported in Italian and international media. He was one of the top scorers in Serie A before his move. Retegui is expected to play a main role in Al Qadsiah’s attack this season.
Jehad Abdullatif Ahmed Thakri, a Saudi defender, continues with Al Qadsiah. Born in Qatif, Saudi Arabia, he came through the club’s youth ranks and is now a part of the senior squad. His presence gives Al Qadsiah local strength at the back.
On August 3, 2025, midfielder Musab Fahd Al-Juwayr joined Al Qadsiah. He signed a five-year contract with the club. Al-Juwayr is known for his control in midfield and adds energy and balance. His long-term deal shows the faith the club has in him.
Ibrahim Hussain Mahnashi, another Saudi midfielder, has been with Al Qadsiah since 2023. He has played regularly and continues to be an important part of the squad in 2025. His role is to bring stability and experience in midfield alongside new signings.
