Haryana News: The Haryana government has decided to increase the pension by giving a major relief to its retired employees. The government has decided to provide a natural increment to the employees retiring on 30 June or 31 December, which will only be valid for the purpose of calculating pension.

This decision has been taken in compliance with the Supreme Court’s order of 20 February 2025 and the central government’s 20 May 2025 guidelines. In this regard, the Chief Secretary of the state Anurag Rastogi has issued a letter to the concerned departments and gave guidelines.

Who will get the benefit?

Employees who have retired between 30 June 2006 to 30 June 2015. Those who have displayed satisfactory work and good conduct in the final year of their service.

One year regular service has been completed, in which no disciplinary action is pending. This increased pension will be payable from May 2023. No arrears or dues will be paid before 30 April 2023.
