The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has confirmed that the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025 is being conducted smoothly across India, despite minor technical glitches at select centres.

The exam, which began on September 12 and will continue till September 26, is one of the largest recruitment tests in the country.

According to SSC officials, more than 28 lakh candidates are scheduled to take the exam across 227 venues in 129 cities. So far, 5,26,194 aspirants have successfully appeared for the test without major issues. The exam is being held in three shifts daily.

To enhance the candidate experience, SSC has introduced a new ‘Feedback Module’ on its official website, allowing examinees to share suggestions and report concerns directly. Officials confirmed that actionable steps are being taken based on the feedback received.

In a move to ensure fairness, SSC has rescheduled exam dates for around 1,100 candidates who faced clashes with other competitive exams or had valid reasons. The Commission also uploaded notices on September 10 and 17 regarding malpractice cases, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and integrity.

CGLE serves as a gateway for recruitment to various Group B and C posts in government departments. With the rollout of the feedback system and responsive measures, SSC’s initiatives are being widely appreciated for promoting accountability and candidate-friendly practices.
