New Delhi: Actor and former cricketer Yograj Singh recently spoke about his strict rules for his family and son Yuvraj Singh in an interview. He said that he imposed such strict rules on his first wife Shabnam so that their son would become the greatest cricketer in the world. Yograj has often admitted that his methods alienated him from his family and many considered him crazy.
Rules and Discipline: A Difficult Time for the Family
Yograj explained I set strict rules for my wife. She couldnt leave the house without my permission. Her family couldnt enter my house and even if they did they couldnt offer any advice. When I had my son I told my mother that I would ignite the fire of making him a great cricketer. He also said that he vowed to take revenge through his son on those who had wronged him including Kapil Dev.

Yograj also spoke openly about his feelings. He said Ive built myself to be as tough as steel. Yes I had tears in my eyes when my mother passed away. That day I became an orphan. When Yuvraj and his mother left me I still felt emotional but I controlled myself. He admitted that his strict ways affected his personal relationships and those with his family.
