Moradabad. Due to lack of health services and non-availability of specialist doctors in Moradabad district of UP and its surrounding areas, the common people have to depend on big cities for quality treatment. The population of this area is approximately 45 lakh. Even after many years of formation of Moradabad, there is no government medical college here. Only one district hospital bears the burden of the population of the entire district. There is also a lack of medical facilities and every year thousands of patients have to travel long distances due to serious health problems.

Moradabadnagar Assembly MLA Ritesh Gupta met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday regarding the above demands. Ritesh Gupta said that there is enough space in the Central Police Hospital for the establishment of a Government Medical College and the District Hospital can also be used for other supporting facilities. The comparative details of the currently operating facilities and the requirements for the Government Medical College are as follows. Other health supporting services available in the hospital – The hospital has a blood bank/(facility for making plasma and platelets – capacity 550), machines for ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan and a building for MRI is constructed. But MRI machine is not available. Ancillary services like Pathology, BSL-2 Lab, I PHL Lab, Physiotherapy, ICTC Centre, ARV Centre, Ayush Department, Homeopathy Department, NRCunit, ECG Room, Ayushman Kisyok, Registration Services, Helpdesk, Kitchen Service, Modern Laundry and Mortuary are available.

In order to provide quality and excellent health services through modern technology to the officers and employees of the police department in the Central Police Hospital, out of 96 beds in the Central Police Hospital, Moradabad, 20 beds can be reserved for police personnel and the remaining 76 beds can be used for the Government Medical College. The distance of Central Police Hospital Moradabad from District Hospital Moradabad is about 700 meters.

Demand for construction and renovation of corridor of Shri Guru Jambheshwar Dham Vishnoi Temple.

During this meeting, BJP MLA of Moradabad Nagar Assembly Ritesh Gupta told CM Yogi that Shri Guru Jambheshwar Dham Vishnoi Temple is located in Lodipur Vishnoi Moradabad under my assembly constituency-28 Moradabad Nagar. This is an ancient and historical place and is about 500 years old temple. This is the only Dham of Vishnoi community in Uttar Pradesh. Where lakhs of devotees of Vishnoi community from all over the country and abroad come to visit. A big fair of Vishnoi community is also organized at the Dham once a year in which lakhs of devotees come. BJP MLA Ritesh Gupta has a humble request to you that keeping in view its ancient historical and cultural importance, please grant approval for the construction and renovation of the corridor of Shri Guru Jambheshwar Dham Vishnoi Temple.
