New Delhi. There was a massive collision between Korba passenger train and a goods train in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Regarding this accident, Bilaspur District Collector Sanjay Aggarwal has confirmed the death of 4 passengers. Whereas SP Rajnesh Singh said that there has been only one death, while Railways has confirmed the death of five people.

Bilaspur DC Sanjay Aggarwal said that near Bilaspur there was a collision between the last and first bogies of a local train and a goods train. Four people have died in the accident. Rescue operation is going on. SP Rajneesh Singh said that four people have been injured in the accident. One was seriously injured and has died. The rest have suffered moderate injuries. Two people are still trapped in the bogie. Those who are being taken out.

Five people have died in a train accident near Bilaspur railway station in Chhattisgarh. Bilaspur railway station officials have confirmed. Railway officials said the incident occurred around 4 pm when a MEMU train collided with a goods train in Bilaspur district.
