New Delhi.Another relief news has come for the agriculture sector. The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme is likely to be transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers soon. According to media reports, the central government can send this amount to the accounts of farmers by the first week of November.

Who is entitled to the 21st instalment?

The benefit of this installment will be available only to those farmers whose all necessary documents and processes are complete. The most important condition is completion of E-KYC. The money for the 21st installment will not come to the account of those farmers who have not yet done e-KYC. Therefore, farmers are being advised to complete their e-KYC process in advance.

The 20th installment was released in August, in which an amount of ₹2,000 was sent directly to the bank accounts of around 9.8 crore farmers. Now everyone’s attention is towards the 21st installment.

What are the necessary conditions?

The benefit will be available only to those farmers whose name is in the beneficiary list of PM Kisan Portal. The e-KYC process must be completed. There should be no mistakes in the bank account and the account should be linked to the Aadhaar number. Installment payment may be stopped if any of these conditions are not met.

How to check status of farmers

Farmers can easily check the status of their 21st installment online. Go to PM Kisan Portal (pmkisan.gov.in) or PM Kisan Mobile App. Select “Know Your Status” or “Beneficiary Status” option on the home page. When the new page opens, enter your registration number. If you do not remember the registration number, click on “Know Your Registration Number”. Enter the captcha code and click on “Get Data” or “Get Details”.
