Lucknow, 4 November. Gorakhpur Police has arrested Ajay Kumar Yadav, who threatened to kill Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan over phone. The accused had described himself as being from Ara district of Bihar, but police investigation revealed shockingly that he had never gone to Bihar. Ajay Kumar Yadav works as a laborer in Ludhiana, Punjab.

Let us tell you that BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan was threatened with death over phone. This threat was given to his personal secretary Shivam Dwivedi on his phone. In this regard, the private secretary had registered a case at Ramgarhtal police station in Gorakhpur. After investigating the case, the police took action and arrested the accused. The arrested accused has been identified as Ajay Kumar Yadav. He is a resident of Fatehgarh Mohalla Bagga Kala, Ludhiana, Punjab province. During police interrogation, it was revealed that he lives in Punjab and works as a laborer washing clothes.

Apologized after arrest

After being caught by the police, Ajay Kumar Yadav’s attitude completely changed. He started pleading for forgiveness. He told the police that he earns his living by working hard and he made a mistake while drunk, so he should be forgiven. Gorakhpur SP City Abhinav Tyagi said that a case was registered for threatening the MP. The accused, who hails from Punjab, has been arrested, and further legal action is being taken against him.
