
New Delhi, 5 November. Powerful wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has recovered from a leg fracture and has returned to the 15-member Indian Test squad announced on Wednesday for the two-match home Test series against South Africa.

But he captained the India A team in the first four-day match against South Africa A in Bengaluru last Sunday and proved his fitness by scoring 90 runs in the second innings in a thrilling three-wicket win over the hosts.
Pacer Akash Deep also returned to the team along with Pant.

Talking about the senior team, the first match of the two-Test series between India and South Africa will be played in Kolkata from 14 to 18 November and Guwahati will host the second Test from 22 to 26 November. After the Test series, there will also be a series of three ODIs and five T20 matches. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are certain to be selected for the ODI series, who saved the national team on Australia tour from a clean sweep in the three-match ODI series at the Sydney Ground with their batting prowess.
Tilak Verma will lead India A’s one-day team
In the same sequence, BCCI also announced the India-A team under the leadership of Tilak Verma, which will play a three-match List A series against South Africa-A in Rajkot from 13 to 19 November. Abhishek Sharma and Arshdeep Singh will also be seen playing along with Tilak in this series.
All these three players are currently busy in the one-day series on Australia tour with the national team. The fourth match of that series, which is tied at 1-1, is to be played in Gold Coast on Thursday, while the series will conclude with the fifth and final match in Brisbane on November 8.
