Never got to see Michael Jackson on stage? Well, soon you could see his story on the big screen.
The first official teaser of the King of Pop 's musical biopic 'Michael' was released on Thursday. What makes it special along with telling the music icon's story is that Jackson's own nephew, Jaafar Jackson portrays his uncle in this movie.
The 29-year-old singer and dancer, who is the son of Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson marks his debut in the acting world with this film. In the clip, he can be seen shooting music videos to his uncle's popular hits "Thriller" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," and recording in a studio with Quincy Jones, played by Kendrick Sampson.

Michael Jackson's early years
Michael Jackson, a pop star devoted to becoming the biggest entertainer in the world died on June 25th, 2009. His cause of death was revealed as an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol and other sedatives administered by his personal physician, who was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
He was born on August 29th, 1958 to Joe and Katherine Jackson. His father was a former boxer, crane operator at US Steel and guitarist for a local band, The Falcons. His mother played the cello, piano and clarinet and had once aspired to become a performer but worked part-time at Sears. Eighth of the ten children in the family, Michael had shared instances of his father abusing him physically and him feeling alone during his youth.
He made his public debut at the age of 6, as the lead singer of Jackson 5 , a band consisting of his siblings and created by his father. With his rise in popularity, unmatchable talent and a grit to rise above it all, Michael Jackson became one of the most significant figures of the 20th century, being remembered to date. His songs, fashion, personality, and dance, made him the greatest entertainer of all time.
Michael Jackson's mother
Jackson's mother, Katherine has been the matriarch of the family who held them all together with her love and guidance. She is 95 years old today and was described by Jackson as the "greatest mother in the world" in his 1988 autobiography, Moonwalk. She is an author who has published two books, one about her family and another, a photobook of her personal memories.
Michael Jackson's wife
Jackson was married twice in his life. His first wife was the daughter of the rock legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, to whom he was married from 1994 to 1996. A singer and songwriter herself, she died of a small bowel obstruction in January 2023.
The pop star was later married to Debbie Rowe, from 1996 to 2000. Now 66, she worked as a dermatological assistant and had been his friend and fan for a long time. The couple has two children together, Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson.

Prince Jackson, the singer's eldest child was born on February 13, 1997 and is 28 years old. He is an actor, music producer and YouTuber.
A year later, Jackson had his second child and only daughter, Paris Jackson. Born on April 3, 1998, the 27-year-old works as a model, actress and singer.
Bigi Jackson, born on February 21, 2002, is the third child of Michael Jackson. However, his mother's name remains unknown with Debbie publicly denying being his biological mother. At 23, he works as a producer and director.
