President Draupadi Murmu CG Visit is proposed to visit Chhattisgarh on 20 November 2025. The state administration has intensified preparations for his stay. President Regarding this important visit, a high-level meeting will be organized under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 at 4 pm in the Ministry (Nava Raipur). Senior officials of all major ministries, departments of the state and officials of the concerned districts will participate in the meeting through video conferencing.
The entire outline of the President’s visit to Chhattisgarh will be discussed in the meeting. Preparations for security, traffic, cleanliness, transportation, hospitality and cultural programs will be reviewed by the Chief Secretary. Officials will be instructed to ensure that there is no administrative or technical lapse of any kind during the arrival and departure of the President. All arrangements should be conducted with full dignity and protocol.
President Draupadi Murmu will participate in various programs in Surguja district during her stay. These programs include review of development plans, interaction with the tribal community, and participation in cultural presentations. The Chief Secretary will also ensure that all programs to the President’s stay are conducted in a timely, safe and orderly manner.
Many senior officers of the state government will be present in the meeting, including Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department), Director General of Police, Principal Secretary (Chief Minister), Principal Secretary (Tribal Caste Department), Secretary to the Governor, Secretary (Energy, Public Works, Health and Family Welfare, General Administration), Commissioner Surguja Division, Additional Director General of Police (Incognito), Inspector General of Police (Surguja Range), Commissioner Public Relations, Collector Surguja, Superintendent of Police Surguja, Air Force Incharge, Chief Engineer (Public Works Department), General Manager BSNL and State Courtesy Officer will be included.
The Chief Secretary has clarified that special attention will be given to security and hospitality during the President’s stay. Strict instructions have been given to the Home Department and Police Headquarters that security arrangements should be implemented at three levels. Also, instructions have been given to the Health Department to deploy emergency medical team, so that emergency situations can be dealt with.
According to sources, the President’s stay in Chhattisgarh (President Droupadi Murmu CG Visit) will be divided into three major phases — the first phase will be of Air Force arrival and welcome ceremony, the second phase will be of participation in the development and cultural programs of Surguja district, while the third phase will be of interaction with local public representatives, tribal community and students. The administration has prepared a control room, quick response team and medical response unit to deal with any emergency.
The Chief Secretary has directed the concerned officers to remain in alert mode 24 hours a day and ensure real time monitoring of every activity. The tribal culture, folk art and traditional beauty of Chhattisgarh will be showcased in the stage and venue being built to welcome the President in Surguja.
The state administration has also said that the President’s stay will be conducted under “zero error protocol” where there will be no scope for negligence at any level. All departments will have to work in coordination with each other so that the President’s visit can become dignified, safe and historic for Chhattisgarh.
