New Delhi, 11 November. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the culprits of the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort metro station will not be spared under any circumstances and will definitely be punished. He was addressing the ‘Delhi Defense Dialogue’ program organized in the national capital on Tuesday.

Rajnath Singh said, ‘I express my deepest condolences to all those families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic incident. May God give them strength and patience in this difficult time.

He said that the investigating agencies are thoroughly investigating the matter and its information will be given to the people soon. He said, ‘I want to assure the countrymen that our major investigating agencies are investigating swiftly. Soon its truth will be in front of everyone. I want to say with full force that the culprits of this incident will definitely be punished and they will not be spared under any circumstances.

It is noteworthy that on Monday evening, an explosion took place in a Hyundai i20 car with Haryana number near Gate No. 1 of Red Fort Metro Station. Eight people died while 20 were injured in this incident. After the incident, high alert has been issued in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Mumbai. Security has been increased in crowded areas and religious places.

Security has been tightened in Delhi-NCR after the blast. NSG commandos have been deployed at important places. Police, NIA, NSG and forensic teams reached the spot within minutes and the entire area was surrounded. CCTV footage is being examined to provide complete information about the incident and identify those responsible.
