If the idea of a basic tent and a makeshift toilet doesn't appeal, this quirky UK campsite has everything needed to transform your view of glamping.

Located just 10 minutes from the stunning sandy shores of Coppet Hall beach, this Pembrokeshire valley spot in Wales is ideal for those wanting to upgrade their typical camping experience. Melin Mabes provides four standard pitches for campers.

For glampers, several choices are available, including a UFO that comfortably accommodates four people, complete with a Tardis-disguised toilet right outside. Electrical hookup is also an option.

  • 'I escaped serial killer after he uttered one word which made my blood run cold'

  • Self-titled 'hot mum' branded 'inappropriate' for her Disneyland outfit

Additional offerings include a delightful "gypsy caravan" and a treehouse overlooking the pond. As an added treat, every glamping choice comes with its own private bathroom and hot tub, according to Campsites.co.uk. The authentic caravan dates back 150 years and features its own wood-burning stove.

It accommodates two guests in an elevated bed with wool bedding, cushioned seating, electrical supply, and heating, reports Wales Online.

For those tired of restaurant meals or camp cooking, there's a fully-equipped pizza oven readily available, with fresh pizza dough on offer. The UFO's specially-designed sofa bed transforms into bunk beds with a privacy curtain, and includes a television for watching your favourite science fiction films from your personal spacecraft, plus a space invader game for added fun.

Step off your spaceship and you'll discover your very own Tardis, complete with ensuite facilities, a fully kitted-out sheltered kitchen, cushioned wicker chairs, outdoor furniture, an exterior shower and a cosy hot tub.

The Templar treehouse, nestled next to the pond that's home to a delightful row boat, is the perfect family getaway, accommodating up to two adults and two small children. This high-tech treetop retreat boasts underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, a kitchenette and a bathroom.

The first floor of the treehouse features a level with two single mattresses and sleeping bags tucked under a sloping roof with limited headroom. But don't worry if you're on the taller side - there's a private balcony for you to soak in the stunning views, as well as a lovely outdoor dining area and fire pit for whipping up some s'mores.

This woodland gem in South Wales is tucked away in a scenic valley, just a 10-minute drive from the coast, offering ample opportunities to embrace the great outdoors.

There are three grass pitches in total, each measuring 5m x 5m. Two of the pitches are reserved for tents and trailer tents only, while the other two pitches welcome couples with tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans.

For those bringing their campervan, motorhome or caravan, there's also the option of a fully serviced hardstanding pitch measuring 6.5m x 14m. This pitch is exclusively for couples and comes with a grey waste point, water hook-up and optional metered electricity.

BBQs are permitted across the site, however, campfires are strictly prohibited. Four-legged companions are also welcome, except in the treehouse.
