Test series between India vs South Africa has started from today. Indian players are currently busy playing the Test series and now the team is preparing hard for the T20 World Cup which will also start in a few days. Indian spinner Varun Chakraborty has been appointed as the captain of the Tamil Nadu team for this season’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy starting from November 26.


In fact, Varun Chakraborty had a brilliant performance in the recently concluded T20 International series against Australia, where he took a total of 5 wickets in three matches. He has now been appointed as the captain of the Tamil Nadu team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Narayan Jagadeesan will serve as his vice-captain. Left-arm spinner R. Sai Kishore and emerging player Andre Siddharth have also been included in the squad.

Indian left-arm fast bowler T. Natarajan is also part of the team. Tamil Nadu have had a mediocre start to the Ranji Trophy this season.
