Haryana News; To make Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU) more easy and transparent, Haryana Government has now started it on the online portal. Under this scheme, those families are eligible for financial assistance, whose member dies or becomes disabled due to collision with abandoned or helpless animals.


In case of such an accident, the government provides financial assistance ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh to the families of the victims, while in case of injury, at least Rs 10,000 is provided.


Chief Minister launches ‘Dayalu-II Portal’


Launching the Dayalu-II portal on Thursday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the process of providing assistance in all such cases in the state has been simplified. With this digital initiative, affected families will be able to get benefits with speed and accuracy.


This initiative of the government is an important step towards transparent and simple service delivery. The scheme amount will be sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). For this, Family Identity Card (PPP) is mandatory.


How will the claim be approved?


The final decision to provide assistance will be taken by a committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner at the district level. The District Statistics Officer has been appointed as the District Nodal Officer to coordinate the claims.
