India’s leading private telecom operators—Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea—have released their Q2FY26 financial results, offering a clear picture of how subscribers are using mobile data and how revenues are shaping up across the sector. Vodafone Idea was the latest to announce its earnings, highlighting that it has rolled out 5G services in 29 cities within its 17 priority spectrum circles.



Bharti Airtel


Airtel reported an average monthly mobile data usage of 28.3GB per customerwhich works out to around 966MB per day. The company continued to lead the industry in revenue metrics, posting the highest ARPU at ₹256moving closer to its short-term goal of ₹300. Airtel’s overall network data volume for the quarter reached 24.446 million GB.


Reliance Jio


Reliance Jio reported the highest average monthly data usage among the three operators, with subscribers consuming 38.7GB per monthslightly over 1.32GB per day. The company recorded an ARPU of ₹211.4while its total network data traffic stood at 58.4 trillion GB.


Commenting on the results, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash M Ambani said the company is proudly serving over 500 million subscribers and continues to drive India’s digital transformation through indigenous Deep-Tech initiatives aligned with the Digital India mission.


Vodafone Idea


Vodafone Idea, which has introduced 5G services in 29 cities across 17 circles, reported an average monthly data usage of 18,954MB per 4G/5G customertranslating to roughly 632MB per day. The operator posted a blended ARPU of ₹167while its total data volume stood at 7,275 billion MB.


In its Q2FY26 statement released on November 10, Vi said its customer ARPU rose to ₹180up from ₹166 in Q2FY25—a year-on-year increase of 8.7%driven primarily by subscriber upgrades and tariff changes. The company reported a total user base of 196.7 millionincluding 127.8 million 4G/5G customerscompared to 125.9 million a year earlier.
