When Varanasi releases, India will be proud of us," he said.

Rajamouli had goosebumps watching Mahesh BabuDuring the event, SS Rajamouli, known for his larger-than-life mythological elements in his storytelling, shared that a part of 'Varanasi' will feature Mahesh Babu as Lord Ram.



"We filmed an important sequence from the Ramayana at Varanasi. It was around sixty days of shoot and I had goosebumps watching Mahesh like that," Rajamouli said.



The movie stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithiviraj Sukumaran in key roles.
