Lucknow, 17 November. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Monday that the current government cannot become a follower of lines. The world has seen the all-round development of the country in the last 11 years and this development journey will continue in future also. Congratulating the students at the convocation ceremony of Babu Banarasi Das University (BBD), he said, “We cannot become rigid. You have seen India’s development journey in the last 11 years and it will continue in the future also.”

CM Yogi said that today you must have seen that sports is becoming a part of people’s daily routine, when Akhilesh Das ji was in the Union Cabinet, at that time I also got the opportunity to be in the Parliament of the country as an MP. He said, “We cannot be conservative, you have seen India’s development journey in 11 years, Modi ji took forward the Digital India Mission within the country.”

Yogi said that there should be a feeling of gratitude and reverence towards those personalities in whose name the university is established. In the ancient tradition of India, when a graduate came out of Gurukul after completing his education, the message given by the teacher was to “speak the truth in life and practice Dharma”.

The Chief Minister said, “56 percent of our population within the country is workforce. The Prime Minister gave the National Education Policy to India in 2020. Effective methods were adopted to link scale with skill. You must have seen that India has taken a huge leap in robotics. We also have to make efforts. We can use technology and reduce human loss while cleaning sewer manholes in which sanitation workers die.”
