The three-match unofficial ODI series played between India A and South Africa A ended on Wednesday (November 19), but this series made headlines for a different reason, as it was not shown live anywhere. The test matches were telecast on Jio Hotstar, but this 50 over series was completely ‘blacked out’, due to which the fans were quite angry.
However, the atmosphere at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot was completely different. A large number of fans arrived to get a glimpse of the India A players. In a video, the players were coming out amid security and the fans were cheering loudly by calling their names. Both Arshdeep and Abhishek also greeted people by shaking hands, in which Arshdeep bowed and saluted the fans.

In the second viral video, the scene inside the team bus was shown. Abhishek Sharma looked at the camera and said, “Rajkot, see you soon.” His sentence had not even been completed when Arshdeep, sitting next to him, immediately said with amusement, “With the same stats.”
Abhishek Sharma felt completely shy after hearing this. Actually, Abhishek had scored a total of 74 runs in three matches (average 24.67, strike rate 134.55), on which Arshdeep was joking. Fans liked this friendly banter very much and the video quickly went viral.
Here the fans also criticized BCCI that despite such a large number of people reaching the stadium, the board did not provide even a single live stream. Whereas, if we talk about the series, India A won this three-match series 2–1.
