WB: Providing relief to candidates who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in West Bengal, State Education Minister Bratya Basu announced on Tuesday that the Primary Education Board's online portal will open from November 19th, allowing eligible candidates to apply for Assistant Teacher positions. This announcement comes after the TET 2023 results were declared (September 24th).

Vacancy announcement made in September
In the third week of September, the minister announced that a recruitment notification would be issued for 13,421 positions. These positions are for Assistant Teacher positions in state-run and state-recognized primary and junior basic schools.
