What ingredients are required to make Moongfali Khoya Ladoo?


Peanut powder – 1 cup (roasted)


Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup



Khoya/Khwa – 1 cup


Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon


Desi ghee – 1-2 tablespoons


Cashews and almonds – 2 tablespoons each or optional


How is Moongfali Khoya Ladoo made?


Step 1- First, you’ll need to lightly roast the peanuts and let them cool, then grind them in a mixer to a coarse powder. Be careful not to make a paste.


Step 2 – Now, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan, add the khoya, stir over low heat, and fry until golden brown. When the khoya begins to smell faintly and changes colour, turn off the heat.


Step 3- Then, let the khoya cool slightly and mix it with peanut powder, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder. If desired, you can also add almonds and cashews for added flavour.


Step 4 – Once the mixture has cooled slightly, take a small amount of it in your hands and shape it into round balls. If the mixture seems dry, add 1 teaspoon of ghee and try again.


Step 5 – Now your delicious Moongfali Khoya Ladoo is ready.
