IND vs SA LIVE Score, Second Test, Day 1 : India and South Africa A two-match Test series is being played between them. The first match of this series has been played and the second match is being played in Guwahati. In this match, South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first. South Africa were 247 for 6 when play was suspended on the first day. Devshi first scored runs for South Africa while Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets for India.



After winning the toss, South Africa elected to bat and got off to a good start with Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton. They added 82 runs for the first wicket, with Jasprit Bumrah managing to break the partnership by dismissing Markram. In the very next over, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Rickelton and dealt South Africa another blow. The two new batsmen at the crease, Tristan Stubbs and Temba Bavuma, put on a hard-fought 84-run stand for the third wicket to save the team. However, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Bavuma to break the partnership. Captain Bavuma was dismissed for 41 runs.


After that, the Indian bowlers did not give the African batsmen a chance to make any big significant partnership. Stubbs missed out on his half-century. Kuldeep made him his prey. Kuldeep Yadav then dismissed Mulder. Mohammad Siraj caught Tony De Zorzi behind to pick up the African team’s sixth wicket.



At the end of the first day’s play, Kuldeep Yadav had taken the most wickets for India with three wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja managed to claim one wicket each. Kyle Vereen (1) and Senuran Muthusamy (25) were not out when play stopped.


Australia win over England by 8 wickets


The Ashes series is being played between Australia and England and the first match of this series was played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. In this match, Australia won by 8 wickets on the strength of Travis Head’s century. England had set a target of 204 runs to win against Australia. Mitchell Starc’s 10 wickets and Travis Head’s record-breaking century and Labuschagne’s half-century led to an easy win over England. With this win, Australia has taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series.
