G20 Summit 2025: It was the second day of the G20 summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron suddenly moved towards the Indian delegation. There was a smile on his face and he shook hands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both the leaders got photographed together. In which their deep friendship was clearly visible. On this occasion, Macron praised the strong relations between India and France, while PM Modi described the friendship between the two countries as good for the future of the world.

When countries move forward together, they become stronger. May the friendship between our countries last forever! At the same time, PM Modi also appreciated the meeting with the French President. The most special thing was that he posted on X in French, the language of the country of France, “It was a pleasure to meet President Macron during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg. We had meaningful talks on a wide range of issues. India-France relations remain an important force for global interest.







Relations between India and France are important


It is noteworthy that PM Modi held separate meetings with the leaders of many countries during the G20 summit in South Africa. These include British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, Brazilian President Lula da Silva and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Apart from this, while addressing the inaugural session of the G20 leaders’ meeting, PM Modi called for a serious rethink on global development standards.
