Maiya Samman Yojana: A big update has come out regarding the ambitious Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Scheme of Jharkhand Government. The government has decided to restart the process of adding new beneficiaries under this scheme. Departmental preparations are almost complete and according to the information, Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself will restart it. It is expected that he will formally launch this campaign on November 21 at Lesliganj in Palamu district.

You won’t have to go to the office

This time the process of applying has been made more simple for the beneficiaries. Whereas earlier women had to make rounds of various government offices, now this system will be completely in camp mode. Under the “Aapki Sarkar, Aapki Yojana, Aapke Dwar” program, camps will be organized in every district by the government. Eligible women will reach the camp with their documents, where their documents will be checked on the spot and if everything is found correct, the application will be approved immediately. This will provide relief to women from unnecessary running around.

These are the required documents

Some necessary documents have been prescribed to apply for the scheme. The applicant will have to bring Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Voter ID, Bank Passbook, Self-Attestation Form and two passport size photographs. Apart from this, the age limit for the scheme has been kept at 18 to 50 years. Only women falling in this age group will be considered eligible to apply.

Only these women will get benefits

The government has also made it clear that not all women will be able to take advantage of this scheme. If any member of a woman’s family is in a government job or the family pays income tax, then she will not be eligible for this scheme. The objective of this rule is to extend the benefits of the scheme to truly needy and economically weak women.

Camps will be organized at district level

All preparations have been completed at the departmental level and now camps will be organized at the district level and applications will be taken from all such eligible beneficiaries. The process of verification and final approval of documents will be completed in the camp itself. The government hopes that thousands of new women will be added to the scheme in this phase, which will prove to be an important step towards economically and socially strengthening the women of the state.
