Meanwhile, health coach Dashmesh Rao has told an easy way by which one can bring natural bridal glow on the face with beetroot worth just Rs 20.
In his viral Instagram reel, the health coach told that no matter how dull, tanned or full of spots the face is, this mixture of beetroot and coffee can brighten the skin instantly.
1. Beetroot + Coffee Scrub
Take some beetroot juice.
Add 1 teaspoon coffee powder to it.
Scrub it gently on the entire face for 2-3 minutes.
Due to this, black spots, white spots and tanning starts reducing.
2. Beetroot Face Pack
1 teaspoon flour
1 spoon gram flour
some beetroot juice
Apply the pack made by mixing all these on the face and neck for 15 minutes.
After drying, clean it gently with water.
According to the health coach, in just 20 minutes the skin can get such a glow which you will be surprised to see.
According to beauty experts, elements like anti-oxidants, vitamin C and glucosyl ceramide present in beetroot nourish the skin from within. NRFHH research found that beetroot bark helps in increasing the elasticity of the skin and reducing inflammation.
In a study published in ResearchGate, 35 women used glucosyl ceramide derived from beetroot extract for 8 weeks, which made their skin look tighter and healthier.
Several nutrition-beauty reports suggest that beetroot can brighten skin tone by reducing black spots and hyperpigmentation.
Beetroot is beneficial for the skin and can help in giving natural glow. However, as big as the claims are – like reducing freckles, deeper tanning or completely removing all blemishes – they don’t work the same for everyone. Still, this is a less expensive, safe and definitely a home remedy worth trying.
