Summary: A strange board of a restaurant in Kerala went viral – written ‘Pure Non-Veg’, users said: Wow honesty!

According to the photo, this notice was put up in a restaurant named Paragan, which is said to be one of the “best restaurants in the world”.

Pure Non-Veg Board Kerala: A different signboard of a restaurant in Kerala has gone viral on social media. Reason? It was written in big letters on the board – “We are a completely non-vegetarian restaurant”, that is, this gentleman had already told that if you come here, you will be welcomed with the aroma of chicken-fish-mutton and the vegetables are just to decorate the menu.

This photo was shared on Twitter by user @RishiJoeSanu. He also claimed that now many “Malayali restaurants” have started putting up such boards so that their image is not tarnished by inciting people on social media. Meaning, some people reach everywhere asking, “Where was the vegetable cooked? Which pan? Was the non-veg steam in the dal?” To avoid this, the restaurant clearly wrote that it is non-veg.

This restaurant put up the board very honestly… “We are a completely non-veg restaurant. Veg items are only for variety. Both types of food are prepared in the same kitchen.” According to the photo, this notice was put up in a restaurant named Paragan, which is said to be one of the “best restaurants in the world”. Then what… the post spread like wildfire. People laughed, clapped and some said that this should happen everywhere.

Comments started raining on the post. Someone showed a photo of Pune and wrote, “Pune has been running for centuries by putting up such “Pure Non-Veg” boards. Many people liked this idea. Someone wrote, “It’s a good step. Now people will be able to decide on their own whether to eat or not.” One user said, “This clears up the chaos, now my choice is whether to go inside or join hands from a distance.” It was said in one comment that veg cannot be found in normal restaurants in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He wrote “This is normal in Madurai. It is wrong to look for veg in the regular restaurants there.” Another user sarcastically said that this board is probably for those people who come from North India and get upset to know that veg and non-veg are made in the same kitchen.

Actually, this whole matter came into discussion because the “veg vs non-veg” controversy often goes on online. Some people want clear information, some people become oversensitive. Some jump into the debate just for the sake of trolling. This board said with great honesty for the first time… “We are non-veg brother, and proudly so!” People considered it fun as well as important. After all, is there anything wrong in being clear about food? This is the reason why this small board dominated the timelines across the country.
