The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, expressed on Sunday that the legacy of the late spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba will continue to inspire people globally.
During the centenary celebration held in Puttaparthi, located in the Sri Sathya Sai district, the Chief Minister remarked on how Baba intertwined spirituality with service, dedicating his life to the welfare of the underprivileged.
He emphasized that although Sri Sathya Sai Baba is no longer physically present, his spirit remains alive within each of us.
Reddy stated, “The life and service of Sri Sathya Sai Baba will inspire individuals around the world. He recognized the divinity in every person and touched hearts with his selfless love.”
According to the Chief Minister, Baba's contributions to free education and healthcare have transformed the lives of millions. Additionally, the efforts of the Sathya Sai Trust have resolved drinking water issues in the Palamuru district.
He announced that the Telangana government has decided to officially oversee the centenary celebrations.
