Mumbai Dance choreographer and film director Farah Khan is in the news these days because of her YouTube vlogs. He has often been seen visiting some celebrity’s house and making cooking videos. His cook Dilip also helps him in this work. Now Farah has told that she has earned more from her YouTube channel than from films. She pays her children’s school fees from YouTube’s earnings. His cook Dilip is also getting some part of this earning.

Admitting this on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Farah said, ‘I don’t know what to say. “I think I said somewhere that in my entire career, maybe in a year, I have never made this much money, even though I have directed so many films.”

That’s why I started YouTube
Explaining the reason for coming on YouTube, Farah said that there was a long wait for her next film and she needed financial backup for the school fees of her three children. He further said that YouTube gives him creative freedom, where no OTT channel or production house tells him ‘this has to be cut’ or which actor to call. He revealed that he has invested a major part of his one year’s YouTube earnings in paying off the huge debt of his cook Dilip and helping his children in their education. Dilip’s popularity has increased so much that now he has also been seen acting in advertisements with Shahrukh Khan. Farah said that she is paying her children’s fees from the earnings of this channel.
