SpaceX marks 150th Falcon 9 mission of the year

SpaceX has achieved another major milestone by successfully launching its 150th Falcon 9 mission of the year from Cape Canaveral.


The mission, which took place on November 22 (local time), saw the deployment of 29 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.


With this launch, the total number of active Starlink satellites now exceeds 9,000, an important step toward providing high-speed internet access across the globe.

The first stage of the rocket, known as Booster B1080, successfully landed on the droneship "A Shortfall of Gravitas." This successful landing marks the ninth for this particular booster.


The latest mission also adds to Falcon 9's impressive record. Since its debut in 2010, it has completed a staggering 568 launches.




SpaceX's Starlink network continues to expand

Since its inception in 2019, SpaceX has launched over 10,400 Starlink satellites.


The company's goal is to create the largest satellite internet network in the world and provide connectivity even in the most remote areas.


With this latest launch, SpaceX takes another step toward making Wi-Fi accessible from anywhere on Earth, a vision that many have long dreamed of.
