With two days still to go, the film has already generated USD 42,289 in USA premiere advance sales. This includes bookings across 176 locations, 332 shows, and an impressive 3,064 tickets sold, signalling solid early interest among Telugu audiences in the circuit.The film is a heartfelt tribute to fan culture, the film revolves around Sagar played by Ram Pothineni whose life, relationship and identity revolve around his screen idol Andhra King- Surya Kumar played by Upendra .



Post the success of Baahubali franchise, the USA market has opened up for Telugu films in a big way and they have become crucial for mid- to big-tier commercial entertainers, and the early trend suggests that Andhra King Taluka may outperform expectations. The current pace positions the film for a potential career-best premiere day for Ram Pothineni, who last set his USA premiere-day high with Skanda , which opened to approximately USD 115,000. If momentum continues at this rate, crossing that benchmark is now a very real possibility.



The success of this is very important for Ram as both his last films Skanda and Double iSmart were unable to do great business at the box office. But despite that he still remains one of the most successful stars of his generation and has a strong loyal fanbase.
