Billie Eilish is headed to cinemas worldwide, this time in full 3D and with her upcoming concert documentary, ‘ Hit Me Hard and Soft ’.
The Oscar winner announced in a social media post that she has collaborated with one of Hollywood’s most iconic filmmakers, James Cameron , to bring the 3D documentary to life. Eilish announced that a 3D film, co-directed by Cameron, will hit theatres on March 20. The project captures the global superstar’s 'Hit Me Hard and Soft' world tour.

When Eilish teased Cameron's involvementEilish first teased the project during a sold-out show in Manchester earlier this year. As reported by Complex, she said, “So you may have noticed there are more cameras than usual,” she told fans. “I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D. These four shows here in Manchester… you and me are part of a thing I’m making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere.”
Eilish wrapped the final leg of her tour in San Francisco on Sunday. Meanwhile, for Cameron, 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' is awaiting its release on December 19.
