Decision taken in view of the possibility of dense fog
East Central Railway has issued an important update for passengers traveling by train in the next few days. According to the update, 24 regular mail and express trains have been cancelled due to dense fog. Additionally, 28 trains will now run at reduced frequency. Fog is predicted, especially in the Prayagraj-Tundla section, which may disrupt train operations.
This will affect routes to Bihar, Delhi, and Haryana. Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, stated that dense fog during winter disrupts the schedules of many trains and can even cause delays of hours. Therefore, passengers are advised to check the updated timetable before traveling.
