Indian startups raised about $1.7 billion in funding between November 1 and 28, marking a more than threefold increase from November 2024, when they had raised a total of $553 million across 164 rounds.

This month, startups across multiple stages secured funding through 103 rounds, according to data from market intelligence platform Tracxn.

Overall funding trend

However, the number is lower compared to the previous month. In October 2025, startups raised around $1.9 billion from 85 rounds.

Last week alone — between November 22 and 28 — startups raised around $226.3 million.

Luma AI: Visual content generation startup Luma AI raised $900 million in a round led by Humain, a Saudi-based public investment fund (PIF). It also saw participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Amplify Partners, and Matrix Partners.

MoEngage: Enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) company MoEngage closed a $100 million funding round led by A91 Partners and existing investor Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Last week, ET reported that MoEngage is finalising a $150 million transaction, the second tranche of a $260 million round.

Giga AI: Agentic AI startup Giga AI raised $61 million in a funding round led by Redpoint Ventures with participation from Y Combinator and Nexus Venture Partners.
