Cyclone Senyar Update: The month of November is now bidding farewell, but by the time the weather has hardened its attitude. There is a strange situation in the country right now. On one hand, people of North India are hiding under quilts and are troubled by the dry cold, while on the other hand, rain and storm in South India have kept people awake. If you are planning a trip in the next few days, then definitely read this new update of the Meteorological Department. ‘Double’ threat to South India: Cyclone and heavy rains. South India is facing double trouble at this time. Cyclone ‘Senyar’ (Cyclone Senyar): South-East Asia. There is a cyclone active nearby, whose name is ‘Senyar’. Although it is moving towards Indonesia, but it is also affecting the Indian weather. Movement in the Bay of Bengal: More worrying for us is the ‘Deep Depression’ formed in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department says that it will become stronger in the next 12 to 24 hours and will move towards the coasts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh. Alert issued: Andaman and Nicobar: The situation here may worsen. Winds will blow at a speed of 50-60 km per hour and there will be heavy rain. ‘Orange alert’ has been issued here. Tamil Nadu and Kerala: ‘Yellow alert’ has been issued here. There are full chances of lightning and heavy rain. Fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea as the waves can rise very high. ‘Dry cold’ is freezing the blood in the mountains. Now let’s talk about North India. The weather patterns here are completely opposite. It is not raining, due to which there is ‘dry cold’ which is more harmful for health. Uttarakhand: The days are clear in Dehradun and Mussoorie but the nights have become bitterly cold. Due to lack of rain, ‘Frost’ has started, which can cause damage to agriculture. Himachal Pradesh: Cold is at its peak here. The mercury has gone down to minus (below zero) in Lahaul-Spiti. There is such dense fog in Bilaspur and Mandi early in the morning that it is difficult to see ahead. The Meteorological Department has clearly said that there is little hope of snowfall or rain here till December 2, which means this ‘dry winter’ will torment further.
