The Palaash Muchhal–Smriti Mandhana wedding row is getting new twists and turns with each passing day. With the names of choreographer Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz arising in the case the two have finally opened up on the matter. While Gulnaaz shared a statement and refuted her friend Nandikas involvement in the wedding fiasco Nandika has now also shared her version as she broke her silence on the matter. Dwivedi issued a statement on Instagram and called the whole situation “extremely painful.”
Nandika Dwivedi Breaks Silence
On Friday Nandika opened up on the matter and shared a story where she wrote “Over the past few days I’ve seen speculation about my involvement in a situation that has been deeply personal for other people. I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone’s relationship are simply NOT true. It’s extremely painful to watch a narrative form around something I had no part in and even more difficult to see how quickly these stories grow without any basis in reality.”



Not just that she also took a dig at the media outlets for creating a narrative around her and added “Please understand this will not be easy for me to come out of I cannot be falsely accused anymore. Please. I have been watching those I care about feel stressed and hurt by information that is not true and it is taking a toll on my mental health.”

The choreographer also revealed that since the entire incident unfolded she has been receiving death threats. “I had been receiving threats which family members could see and that’s why I had made my account private. Please I request you all to stop the rumours… I have sacrificed a lot to come to Mumbai to work and achieve my goals. Please do not take my name further than this; I have nothing to do with any of it. Eventually the truth will find its way.”
What Happened Between Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana?
Palaash and Smriti were supposed to get married on November 23. While their Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies had already taken place it was on their wedding day that Smritis father was hospitalised and the wedding was called off until further notice. Following Smritis father it was Palaash who was also hospitalised after his health deteriorated.

It was during that time when rumours were rife that Palaash cheated on Smriti with the dance choreographer.
