December 1 (Monday) – Banks will be closed in Itanagar and Kohima on Inauguration Day/Indigenous Faith Day.
December 3 (Wednesday) – Banks will be closed in Goa on account of St. Francis Xavier's Day, which is celebrated in honor of the 16th-century Spanish Jesuit missionary.
December 7 (Sunday) – Banks will be closed in Shillong on account of the death anniversary of Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma.
December 13 (Second Saturday) – Banks will be closed across the country.
December 14 (Sunday) – Banks will be closed across the country on this day.
December 18 (Thursday) – Banks will be closed in Shillong on account of the death anniversary of U Soso Tham.
December 19 (Friday) – Banks will be closed in Panaji on this day as Goa Liberation Day is celebrated.
December 20 (Saturday) and December 22 (Monday) – New Year celebrations will be held in Sikkim, including the festival of Losung or Namsoong. Consequently, banks in Sikkim will be closed for three consecutive days.
December 21 will be a Sunday holiday.
December 24 (Wednesday) – Banks will be closed in Aizawl, Kohima, and Shillong on this date due to Christmas Eve, while business will continue as usual in the rest of the country.
December 25 (Thursday) – Banks will be closed across the country on Christmas.
December 26 (Friday) – Banks will be closed in Aizawl, Kohima, and Shillong due to Christmas celebrations.
December 27 (Saturday) – Banks will be closed in Kohima due to Christmas. Additionally, this will be the fourth Saturday of the month, so banks will be closed in the rest of the country as well.
December 28 will be a Sunday holiday for banks across the country.
December 30 (Tuesday): Banks will be closed in Shillong on the occasion of the death anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah.
December 31 (Wednesday): Banks will be closed in Aizawl and Imphal on account of New Year's Eve and Imoinu Iratpa.
