During the event, as per ANI, Rajinikanth gave a speech where he shared that his 50 years in the industry felt like just 10–15 years due to his enduring love for acting. He also shared the wish to be "reborn as Rajinikanth" in every lifetime. He dedicated the honour to the Tamil people, the film industry, and his devoted fans who, in his words, "keep him alive."
