Visitors have praised a stunning little UK market town that many people haven't heard of. There are almost countless visit-worthy towns around the country that make for a relaxing and fun-filled break away at any time of the year. Amid the high street crisis happening across the UK, people are in search of places where independent shops thrive, and communities feel alive with retail and dining. This town is a great example of just that.

Oakham is located in the small county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England. The small town is home to just over 12,000 people.
