Airtel currently has more than 380 million users in India. The company has introduced two voice-only prepaid plans this year as per TRAI guidelines. One of these plans offers a validity of 84 days and the other for 365 days. Both plans include unlimited calling and free SMS. These long-term plans are specially designed for users who use their Airtel number as a secondary SIM or keep it only for calling. With the 365 day plan, users do not need to recharge again and again throughout the year.

Airtel’s Rs 1849 plan

This prepaid plan from Airtel is priced at Rs 1849 and includes the following benefits:

• Validity: 365 days


• Calling: Unlimited calling across India (national roaming also free)


• SMS: Total 3600 free SMS


• Extra Benefits: Free Hello Tunes

Importantly, this plan is specifically designed for calling and SMS. There is no data benefit of any kind in this. If internet is required, users will need to purchase Airtel’s data add-on pack separately.

This Rs 469 prepaid plan from Airtel also offers many benefits:
